Greetings from Phoenix Scottish Rite Foundation
Welcome to the Phoenix Scottish Rite Foundation. We are philanthropy in the state of Arizona that provides grants to
its speech-language partners to help defray the cost of speech & language therapy for qualified children and their
families. The Foundation also awards some undergraduate & graduate-level scholarships in speech-language
pathology. These scholarships are awarded, on a competitive basis, to first and second-year Master’s Degree
students in Arizona attending Colleges and Universities here.
Our Mission
It is our endeavor, in time, to grow and expand our Speech, Language, and Pathology scholarship offerings to future literacy educators by partnering with local educational institutions. Provide help in the form of vouchers to those in need for services we do not perform ourselves and directly support our RiteCare efforts.
Our Vision
To see all children, teens, and adults achieve lifetime literacy skills in today’s demanding world. We endeavor to expand our offerings, and services and establish partnerships within Arizona in keeping with the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite’s philanthropic endeavors.
Become a Donor
We operate on a tight budget. Virtually all sums of money are spent on students and materials. By becoming a donor, you help this non-profit carry on its mission while getting a full tax-deductible receipt for it. We Thank You!
Make a Donation by sending a check made out to: The Phoenix Scottish Rite Foundation, and mail to: 7726 N. 59th Ave. Glendale, AZ 85301. All donations are tax-deductible!

What is RiteCare?
In the early 1950s in Colorado, the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry of the Southern Jurisdiction of the United States initiated a program to help children with speech and language disorders. The results obtained from this program led to the establishment of RiteCare Scottish Rite Childhood Language Program (SRCLP) clinics to provide diagnostic evaluation and treatment of speech and language disorders, as well as learning disabilities. There are over 170 clinics nationwide, and two Scottish Rite hospitals in Texas. While some offer a full scope of services, some do not. The Phoenix Scottish Rite offers free Literacy help for teens and adults, free student evaluations, free SLP vouchers for children through a partnership with Arizona State University as well we inexpensive hearing tests for Masonic members.
